Canopies for Kids

I always loved the idea of a canopy or tent when I was a kid. The bottom bunk was always the best choice because you could use another blanket to create "a tent". I found a few canopy options so that if you don't have a bunk bed you can still have your tent:

If you could...

have 18 children, would you? A lady in British Columbia gave birth to her 18th child. An excerpt from the article from the Associated Press reads:

"Proud dad Alexandru Ionce said Saturday that his 44-year-old wife, Livia, gave birth on Tuesday. Their daughter Abigail weighed in at 7 pounds, 12 ounces.

"We never planned how many children to have. We just let God guide our lives, you know, because we strongly believe life comes from God and that's the reason we did not stop the life," said Alexandru Ionce."

You really don't hear about people having such large familys nowadays.

Celebrity Babies?!

With so much talk over celebrity babies, I have to ask: do you care? Do you follow the celebrity baby gossip? A certain part of me wants absolutely nothing to do with it and yet I find myself picking up magazines with Angelina's twins on the front or commenting on how adorable little Suri is.
I am always happy to hear when celebrities use their identies for the good of something like a charity for children.

Stokke Baby Beds

I have recently started to see strollers by Stokke all over the city. I went to their web site and discovered that they make several other products for babies and toddlers. I love Stokke's style and and their oval shaped cribs are adorable. What do you think?

Why all the products?

The reason I'm going to start writing about products is because it's truly something that I enjoy writing about. Once we get bigger I'm hoping to have different writers add their thoughts on various matters but for now, it's just my sister and I. I would love to own a little boutique some day and if I could have everything we wrote about in there that would be great! Obviously, the store would need to be the size of a wal-mart and I just don't know if it's possible. In the meantime, I can write about the things I love and hope that along the way you may like them too.
We have our forum to talk about everything else mommy related (products or otherwise).

Facebook

I'm not sure if many of you noticed but our momsneedanswers facebook account has been disabled! It is extremely frustrating and I believe I was temporarily banned for "adding" too many friends. I didn't realize this was not allowed and have e-mailed facebook to apologize and request that my account be restored. We'll see what happens and I will keep you posted.

Blogging

I have no idea how bloggers do it...I am going to try to be better about things but this whole blogging business is not so easy! I have a few things to write about but I haven't had the time to sit down and type them so I apologize. I hope you all forgive me. If you have any thoughts on topics, please let me know.
