Maternity Dresses
I've been told my many moms-to-be that you only need one nice maternity dress. I checked around just to see what was out there and I think there are a couple that are really cute and can definitely be used for more than one pregnancy. Babywit Baby Slippers
I love these little slippers. I think they're so sweet. The patterns are adorable (I happen to love retro prints) and the elastic in the back is great for keeping them on baby's feet. Art Smocks
We all know arts and crafts can be extremely messy. A great way to control the mess (at least on one's clothing) is by wearing a smock. I found a couple of different ones that I like:

Make your own Muppet - The Muppet Whatnot Workshop
Fao Schwartz just started the coolest thing. It's called "The Muppet Whatnot Workshop" and it's a tool on their web site that allows you to create your own muppet. You pick out your favorite puppet body color, hairstyle, nose, and outfit and then click submit to have the workshop get started on your very own puppet!

Luxury Play Houses
When I was little I always used to make my own play houses. We lived in an apartment and so my father would find huge refrigerator boxes and it was my job to decorate them. I loved it. He would cut out squares for windows and I would pretend that my box was either a castle or house. That was me. My sister grew up with the fisher-price play house in our back yard and loved it. Hand Puppets
Hand puppets can be so much fun to play with. You can make your own little theatre out of a big cardboard box and can decorate it with whatever scraps or paint you have. You can make your own hand puppets or you can buy them online. I think they're ideal for anyone who is in the passenger seat who is trying to keep someone in the back seat of the car or minivan entertained!
