Sarah Pinto's Planners

I have been searching for a cute agenda since November of last year. It's really gotten ridiculous. I had a filofax and it's really just falling apart. The other thing is that I already carry around a lot of things for work and it was adding additional weight to my shoulder.
I went back and fourth between having another agenda or buying a smaller planner just for 2009. I looked at Kate Spade, Kate's Paperie, Papyrus, Container Store, Coach and Graphic Image...nothing really "grabbed" me.
Finally, last Wednesday I start hunting around online and I discover Sarah Pinto's Planners. They are as cute as can be. I had a hard time deciding which one I wanted because I really liked the Zebra planner but I decided on the "This is my lucky year" Planner. I love it and really do believe that this is a year of great things for me!

My New Purchase

My friend received a crock pot for Christmas and told me about it. We had a crock pot in our house that looked like it was from the 1960's and I feel like the bowl itself was made of Teflon. Ugly flowers were printed on the outside making it look like an afghan on a pot. No one wanted to use it so it was tossed.
Years later, my friend tells me he has one and suddenly I want one. The thought of being able to throw everything into one pot and having a complete meal hours later is amazing! I walked into Macy's on Monday and there was a $50 dollar crock pot on sale for $25 (actually the sales rep gave me $5 off additional because the box was damaged). Sold! Comes with something called a "little dipper" too!
I love to cook and chop and prepare but think this will be a great thing to have on days when I want to work out or take my dog for a long walk and then come back to a nice meal. I can't wait. There are so many good crockpot recipe sites out there. Do you crock pot? Have any recipes to share?
